Antique Nefertiti bust on display in Berlin, Germany

The newly restored Neues Museum in Berlin (a facility destroyed in WW11)exhibited a 3,300 year old limestone and stucco bust of Queen Nefertiti or Europe. There has been an on going conflict between the German and Egyptian governments regarding this statue of Nefertiti. She was the wife of Pharaoh Akhenaten.
Egypt is claiming ownership of this antique. It's still unknown as to how Queen Nef. ended up in Germany anyway. There has been an official investigation launched. Egypt officials believe she was taking illegally. This statue has been in the care of Germany since 1913. Why are they now demanding it back? Some are calling it jealousy. Personally as a lover of cultural art I'd love to see it no matter who it belongs to.

Usher Paper lyrics

I heard on the radio today that the person who wrote the song Papers for Usher stated that the song is only partly true. He's claiming that all of the lyrics are not about Usher's relationship and pending divorce with his wife. Yeah , OK what ever. Oh, is it just coincidence then right? Give me a break.. This is the same thing they were claiming about Usher's Confession album. That was all about Chilly but he tried to claim it wasn't. Well I believe it was. Whats the big deal anyway. The song is hot. I dont really care who it's about.

1,000 Get well card for Danielle Bartlette..Steve Harvey Morning Show

Last week on the Steve Harvey morning show there was an email read that was from a nurse sharing her story about a little girl name Danielle Bartlette form West Virgina. She stated that 10 year old Danielle was dying from cancer and all she wanted was to receive 1000 get well cards. Well once this was announced people took action. I went to Steve Harvey's morning show website but i could not find her address. I was going to #1 send her a get well card and #2 post her address on here so that she could get all the cards she wanted. While on the website i did come across alot of listeners who were emailing to ask for her address as well. I also read one email from someone who stated that they had found Danielle's website and it stated that she was cancer free. The person wanted to know why the morning show didn't do more research before they read the email. Well it turns out that Danielle got back results that she was cancer free after the email was read. She has no signs of it. But in that short period of time Danielle did receive the 1000 cards she wanted and more. Her mother was on the Steve Harvey morning show this morning and said that Danielle received 8 packages and 18 crates of letters. Wow. Yes despite what we may think and what seems to be true there are some people who really care. Danielle's mother said although she is cancer free she still has to take medication for the rest of her life because of some conditions she developed from the cancer. Prescious.. Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey's new movie

November 6th everybody... don't know about yall but I can't wait to see this picture. The preview alone had me tearing up ( i'm too emotional). My OCD kicked in and i watched the preview seven times. lol. This movie, for those of you who dont know , was a book named Push. If I'm not mistaken the movie was first advertised with the name Push. Maybe they decided to change it. I first saw this movie trailer when Tyler Perry's Madea goes to jail movie came out. I've been looking for it to be release and I never heard anything else about it. I did a little research and I think it was shown in limited theatres. Also it was given a Sundance Movie Award. The movie is about a young sixteen year old over weight girl who is pregnant with her second child. If im not mistaken in the book she was pregnant by her father. Im not sure though because I read the book a long long time ago. The girl was picked on and felt very low about herself. She was facing many obstacles in her life. Her mom was abrusive and people used to pick on her and the list goes on. At some point she decided to fight. To be strong and take as much control of her life as she could. I believe she will see her way through. I hope so. I think this was based on a true story but I hope not. The thought of young poeple enduring such emotional pain really hurts me. The sad thing is there are so many young ladies and older who ar going through some of the same issues and it prevents them from actually living a full and happy life. I hope that all of those individuals {boys and men too} go to see this film and become inspired. Not that a movie will solve all these issues but even though i havent seen it yet it seems to have the potential to at least up lift someones spirit. If it can just do that for even one or two people then it worked. Also just to see a good film is always uplifting to me. I love movies and music, its whats kept me going,honestly. Dont you love NY? or no?

Gay man in Queens NY beaten for being gay.

Jack Price a 49 year old College Park , Queens Ny man was brutally beaten. Supposedly because he is gay. Two assailants were caught on camera savagely beating the man to near death. Mr Price has broken ribs and has been put in a medically induced coma. According to the news reports he said as they beat him they yelled anti-gay slurs at him. Two men age 26 and 21 have been apprehended. One fled to Virginia where he was captured and the other was taking into custody a few days later. The victim is in serious condition but expected to make it.

You mean to tell me in this day, age and time people are still so hatefully that they would beat you to near death or even kill you because of being gay or of a different nationality. Well now the law is if im not mistaken , if it is a hate crime that is gay or racially motivated your time in jail can be doubled as to what it would have been if it was just a regualar crime. Well now they will have to be in jail with many gays and many different nationalities. The funny thing is in jail the gays will beat your a_ _. Now they will probuly get jumped by gays. At least hopefully. Thats if in fact they really did this because he was gay. Remember there are two sides.

Arizona record breaking heat

Arizona hit a new record today. Yes today on Oct 17th 2009, Pheonix hit 102 degrees beating out the record high of 100 degrees in 2003.

Meanwhile in NY and other eastern states and some southern like Goergia, we are heading for a cold freeze. Temperatures are expected to drop to the low 30's.

Im in NY and i feel like packing up and going to Arizona. The cold weather is not for me. Anybody out there on the west coast want to switch apartments and jobs for the winter. lol

75 year old man dead in plain view on balcony in California (Neighbors thought it was a Holloween prank)

According to the Los Angeles Times, a man sat decomposing on his terrace since Sunday. People passed and saw him but thought it was a Holloween decoration. Apparently the elderly gentleman took his own life. He had a single gunshot wound through his eye. He had been there since Monday. The police weren't called until Thursday. He lived on the third floor and was found slumped over in a chair. How sad. Perhaps he was lonely or ill. This can be such a cold and lonely place sometimes. I guess when you get of older age and many friends and relatives have passed on or are suffering and you can rarely get along like you used to , you can become very down in your spirit and sad. Im sure many people think about this as a way out, but some just hang in there and see what the end will be.

Former Supposed to be NY Pastor Robert Reaves found guilty of murdering a 21 year old North Carolina female

On Oct 9th, 2009, Robert Reaves, a former New York and North Carolina pastor had been convicted of stabbing 21 year old Latrese Curtis to death on Jan 28th 2008. Latrese Curtis was stabbed 38 times and left on the side of a North Carolina highway. This man will be sentenced to life according to reports. You know its sad this man went around claiming to be a man of GOD and was low down. He has a long rap sheet including molesting a South Carolina boy, false use of credit cards, he plead guilty and did seven years for holding a young male at knife point and forcing anal and oral sex. yuck, disgusting. Also the list goes on. Apparently it has been said that he killed Latrese because she was having relations with his tenant with whom he was interested in having a relationship with. His tenant was a young college male student who apparenty fought off advances from Reaves for months. There is a news channel in NC that you can watch the entire trial. The station is WRAL. There is no excuse for behavior like this. Murdering some one who doesnt even know why she got murdered. Everybody be aware of people no matter who and what they claim to be. This man deceived many people and in the name of GOD. If he didn't commit this crime and was falsely convicted he's only get paid back for all the other low down dirty things hes done. I hope GOD fixes him.

Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield on Oprah show

Wow, I thought this was great. I love both of these men. Mike Tyson seems to very sensitive now. Now he has learned about feelings and making a choice to be right or wrong or good or bad. He's seems to be trying to take the straight road now. Somewhere somehow he woke up and realized his ways of life was totally wrong. Well, maybe not totally. He somehow learned and realized that some of the things in his life had been just awful. Unfortunately that's how a huge percentage of human beings learn. I am one of them. Sometimes you make so many mistakes and bad choices and then either a light bulb goes off in your head or you get a rude awaking of some sort such as a death of a loved one or facing death yourself. Or going broke, a breakup, old age, or just coming across a person who's very kind to you and has a good spirit and you want to be like that as well. I think for him to even be able to be as honest and open as he has and also somewhat apologetic , all along he had something inside of him that was sweet, loving and kind and caring. I could be wrong but maybe he just didn't know how to show it or bring it out, or he just simply thought that was how he was supposed to be , maybe that's all he knew. But for him to know better and do better is a big accomplishment because some people know better but just choose to live bad and evil. And I think Evander realized this also. I don't think he took it too personal after time wore off. He probably saw something in Mike before and after he bit his ear that he liked or felt compassion for. We all have had our share of bad judgement , righteous and unrighteous conduct so I believe that as long as it wasn't a downright grimy offense there is always room to move on from it. Usher's new song .......Papers

ok ladies and gents.. Ushers new song called Papers. Love the song but this song was regarding his relationship with his wife. Now I like Usher and love his music and he's a talented dude and all but I dont feel sorry for this cat at all. You see he's only getting back what he did to his former girlfriend Chilly.
His wife only did what 95% of the men do when they get older. They go grab themselves up a younger women or either they put us women through a whole lot of BS. So she beat him to the punchline. And respect is due to his wife for doing the same thing. Women, do them the way they do us. Turn the tables on thier a_ _es. If more women wouldnt take no shorts and show these men who's the one with the cooch they would learn how to behave themselves. No disrespect Usher.
